3 Things Any Limestone Company Should Be Able to Do

Does Your Limestone Company Know How to Do These Things?

When you’re investing in a limestone piece, most people agree that the most important thing that you can do is start with a limestone company that you can trust. Finding the right limestone company for your project is largely a matter of the experiences that other people have had with them. A good way to measure how your experience with a limestone company is going to go is by asking them these four important questions. Any respectable limestone company should be able to properly answer the following questions.

1. Do You Have Recent References?

Not only do you want to have one referral for the limestone company that you end up hiring for your project, you want to have a bunch of them. It’s not enough for them to hand you a bunch of referrals from the past ten years though, you want to get some references that are from the past few months. The reason for this is that any company that’s been in business for the past ten years is going to have at least some people that have had good experiences with the company, but by providing references that are from the last few months, you know that people have really recently had great experiences with the company. Since limestone is an industry that basically runs on referrals, you need to make sure that you’re getting one that has the best referrals if you want the best experience.

2. Is My Project in Your Portfolio?

Before you hire a limestone company, you want to make sure that their portfolio reflects the project that you want to accomplish. That means that when you look at their portfolio, you should be able to at least find a project that’s remotely similar to yours if you want to have a good experience. If you want peace of mind about whether or not a limestone company is going to do a good job on your limestone project, you need to make sure that you’re working with one that has done projects similar to the one you want to get done. The only way to verify that is to see a final product in their portfolio.

3. How Long Have You Been in Business?

You need to hire a company that has the required experience to take on your job. That means that you’re not going to want to hire a company that hasn’t been in business for a long time, as by nature, they haven’t proven themselves in the industry. When you’re looking at a company history, make sure that they’ve been around for at least ten years before you hire them, so you have the peace of mind that they’re experienced in the industry.

Get the Right Limestone Company

Taking the time to properly vet the limestone company that you choose to end up make your limestone piece is incredibly important. The only way to do that is to make sure that they’ve been in business for a long time, see projects similar to yours in their portfolio, and check their references from recent months to make sure that other people have had good experiences with them as well. Use all of these tips to make sure that you end up getting the right limestone company for your project.
